Low Furlong is a purpose-built residential home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 68 people, including those with dementia. The home is spread across two floors with en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges, dining areas, and bathroom facilities on each level. At inspection, 58 people were living there.

People, relatives, and healthcare professionals consistently praised the exceptionally high standards of care, attributing this to outstanding leadership. The registered manager is deeply committed to achieving high standards and creates an environment where staff feel valued and motivated to meet individual needs. Staff demonstrate strong collaboration and equality, with the manager actively nurturing their development and recognising when they go above and beyond. There is continuous focus on improvement through governance processes and stakeholder feedback.

The home maintains a culture of openness and honesty, with people, relatives, and staff empowered to have a say in how the service operates. This collaborative approach and transparency builds confidence in the care being provided.
