River Court Care Home

River Court accommodates up to 120 older people in a purpose-built building divided into four units, with 112 residents living there at the time of inspection. The home provides accommodation alongside personal and nursing care as an integrated service.

Residents felt safe and were supported to make choices about their care with staff working in the least restrictive ways possible. Staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding procedures and understood how to identify and report concerns to managers and external authorities. Risk assessments were in place to guide staff in supporting residents appropriately.
