Frithwood Nursing Home

Frithwood Nursing Home provides nursing care for up to 26 older people, with 24 living there at the time of the assessment. The home had previously been rated requires improvement, with breaches relating to safe care, premises, person-centred care and governance. The CQC found that these issues had all been resolved, and the service is now rated good.

Inspectors found risks were well managed, medicines handled safely, and staff were well trained, supported and sufficient in number. The building was clean and well maintained. People and relatives spoke positively about kind, attentive staff, good food and a range of activities, and felt confident raising any concerns.
