Brunswick Court Care Home

Brunswick Court Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 90 people, primarily older people and people with dementia. At inspection, 62 people were using the service, which spans three floors and a basement with individual bedrooms, en-suites, dining rooms and lounges on each level.

Inspectors found that people felt support from staff was inconsistent and sometimes felt isolated, affecting their wellbeing. Care plans did not always capture what was important to individual residents. The provider has introduced new software to address this gap. While governance systems including audits and monitoring are in place with identified improvements, actions were not always completed. The registered manager has implemented significant changes since the previous inspection, with quality assurance systems now being used and showing clear outcomes, though these changes were only recently introduced at the time of inspection.
