Ridgeway House

Ridgeway House provides residential care for up to eight people with mental health needs, with six residents at the time of inspection. The home has robust safeguarding practices in place, with staff understanding their responsibilities to protect people from harm. Risk assessments and care plans inform how staff keep residents safe, and safe recruitment procedures ensure adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs. Medicines are managed safely, and residents receive support with nutrition and hydration.

The home works closely with other professionals to meet residents' needs and supports people to exercise maximum choice and control over their lives. Staff use the least restrictive approaches while acting in residents' best interests. Residents and their relatives expressed satisfaction with the care provided, with one family commenting "I'm happy, the whole family are happy, we have no concerns at all. It's lovely there," and another saying "It's 100% care."
