About Richmond House

Richmond House is a care home in Wakefield providing personal care for up to five people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Four people were living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it met the "right support, right care, right culture" principles for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

Inspectors found staff knew people well and provided person-centred, kind support, with enough staff on duty and clear risk assessments in place. Care plans were detailed, the home was clean and personalised, and the provider followed Mental Capacity Act principles. People and relatives spoke positively, with feedback praising communication and the quality of care received.
