Rosemount Care Home

Rosemount Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 60 older people, including those living with dementia, across three units. Having previously been in special measures with six breaches, the CQC found significant improvement and rated the home Good overall. It is no longer inadequate in any area.

Inspectors found risks were well managed, staffing levels sufficient, and leadership much stronger and more open, with improved audits and closer links to external professionals. Some medicines practice and care planning, particularly around end of life, still needed refinement. People and relatives spoke warmly of a brighter, calmer home and a caring, attentive staff team.
