This residential care home supports up to 27 people, including older and younger adults living with dementia. At inspection, 16 people were using the service. The registered manager is highly visible and actively engages with residents and staff. The home has fostered a culture of equality and diversity, with staff trained as mental health wellbeing champions to support their colleagues. Governance and clinical oversight have been strengthened through new systems and processes for monitoring quality and safety.

Leadership demonstrates strong commitment to continuous improvement and better outcomes for residents. The clinical manager is training as a student nurse assessor, enabling the service to offer placements for student nurses. Staff report confidence in raising errors within a supportive, no-blame culture. The service responds to accidents and incidents by taking action and learning from each occurrence.
