This nursing home provides care for older people, including those living with dementia, with capacity for 30 residents. At inspection, 21 people were living at the home, which is also registered to provide personal care services to five individual bungalows on the site, though no care was being provided to bungalow residents at that time. People reported feeling safe, with risks properly assessed and managed according to their care plans. Staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and adequate staffing levels supported safe and effective care provision. Residents received prescribed medicines correctly, and staff followed appropriate infection control practices. Staff reported receiving relevant training for their roles and felt equipped to meet people's assessed needs. When incidents occurred, lessons were learned and shared across the team.
