Alveston Leys Care Home

Alveston Leys provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 60 people, including those living with dementia and physical disabilities. At inspection, 32 people were residing at the home, which is organised across three floors with residential and nursing units, communal lounge and dining areas, and ensuite bedrooms with additional bathroom facilities on each floor.

Residents were complimentary about the quality of care and support, with some feeling staff went above and beyond in their care. People reported feeling safe and expressed positive views about the home's management. Staff demonstrated good understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities and were aware of signs indicating worry or anxiety that could suggest abuse or discrimination. Medicines were managed safely.
