Queensway House

Queensway House accommodates up to 80 people requiring nursing care, with 37 residents at the time of inspection. People and their relatives report feeling safe. Staff demonstrate strong safeguarding understanding with appropriate training completed. Health and safety risks have been identified through assessments, with guidance from health professionals incorporated where available. Staff receive clear direction to minimise harm, and equipment supports residents' health and mobility needs. Medicines are managed safely by trained and competent staff, and infection prevention and control measures are assured. The service facilitates safe visits for family and friends following Government guidance. Staffing levels are regularly reviewed by management to ensure adequate coverage for resident needs, with all new staff recruited safely through proper pre-employment checks.
