Primrose Care Home provides personal care to up to 22 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 21 people were using the service. During the visit, the home was managing a COVID-19 outbreak with people self-isolating.

Despite this challenging situation, relatives and staff gave extremely positive feedback about safety and the home's infection prevention and control practices. Staff consistently wore PPE during visits, which relatives confirmed.

Staff demonstrated good knowledge of safeguarding and whistle blowing procedures and felt confident speaking up if concerns arose. Overall, the home maintained positive relationships with families and staff felt supported in their roles.
