Penley Grange is a care home registered to support up to six people living with a learning disability, including autistic people. The home was fully occupied at the time of the assessment, and inspectors found care was person-centred, respectful and focused on choice, independence and dignity.

The CQC found a new leadership team had made significant improvements since the previous inspection, resolving earlier breaches around safety, staffing, nutrition and governance. Medicines management and safeguarding were now effective, staff interactions were caring and consistent, and relatives reported real confidence in the team. The service is now rated Good overall, with an Outstanding rating for effectiveness.
