Pendle Gardens

Pendle Gardens provides nursing care for up to eight adults, specialising in supporting men with learning disabilities and complex needs. Residents reported feeling safe and satisfied with the care they received. Staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding procedures and how to protect people from harm or discrimination.

Adequate staffing levels were in place to meet residents' needs and ensure safety. The provider operated robust recruitment procedures to verify staff suitability. Risk assessments were carried out to help people maintain independence while minimising harm. The home promoted positive risk-taking to enable residents to participate in activities. Infection control measures were in place, and the premises maintained satisfactory cleanliness standards.
