Brierfield House provides personal care for up to 42 older people and those living with dementia across two units on two floors, with one unit dedicated to dementia care. At inspection, 30 people were living there. Residents felt safe and reported adequate staffing levels to meet their needs.

Staff managed medicines safely, followed secure recruitment practices, and implemented proper infection control procedures with appropriate use of personal protective equipment.

Staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding and supported people to manage health and wellbeing risks. The home environment was regularly checked for safety, and staff received appropriate induction and training to meet residents' needs. People told inspectors they were supported to live well at the home.
