About Parkview House Residential Care Home
Parkview House accommodates up to 45 older people with dementia across two floors divided into five units. At the time of inspection, 44 residents were living there. The registered manager and staff worked closely with local health professionals to control COVID-19 spread, with numerous PPE workstations positioned throughout the building for easy staff access. Staff received infection control training and used PPE safely and effectively.
The home experienced good staff retention overall, though a recent COVID-19 outbreak required regular agency staff and management team members to cover gaps in the rota. Inspectors made minor suggestions regarding infection control practices.
