Parklands Nursing Home

Parklands Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 54 people in a single-storey building. At inspection, 39 people were using the service. The home includes 13 bedrooms in a designated area intended for people discharged from hospital.

The provider and registered manager had established robust plans to safely care for people admitted with COVID-19. They reviewed the environment and adapted a designated area to minimise infection risk, and had reviewed fire evacuation procedures to ensure people could be safely evacuated.
