Parklands provides accommodation and personal care to up to 29 people aged 65 and over. At the time of inspection, 21 people were living at the home.

The home has a dedicated visitor room accessible through a separate entrance, where visitors were required to have COVID-19 tests and wear full Personal Protective Equipment. Staff wore PPE in line with government guidance, with supplies available in bathroom areas and clinical waste bins positioned for safe disposal. Staffing levels had been increased to support enhanced cleaning and laundry practices across the home.
