Four Acres

Four Acres is a purpose-built residential home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 67 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 55 residents were living there across two floors, each with communal lounge and dining areas, en-suite bedrooms, and additional bathroom facilities. Staff had access to clear guidance on managing identified risks and supporting people during anxiety or distress, with information shared to help them understand each resident's individual needs. There were sufficient staff available to maintain safety and respond promptly to requests for support on inspection day. Staff received regular training and told inspectors managers were readily available for guidance. The home worked effectively with other professionals to meet health needs in a timely way, supported residents to maintain healthy diets, and managed and administered medicines in line with good practice.
