Could the NHS fund Park House Residential Care Home's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Park House Residential Care Home in Oldham provides personal care for up to 28 residents. During inspection, the home demonstrated strong infection control practices following a recent COVID-19 outbreak. Staff required residents and visiting healthcare professionals to provide proof of negative lateral flow tests and COVID-19 vaccination respectively. The home implemented zoning arrangements to isolate residents when needed, maintained adequate supplies of personal protective equipment, and ensured all staff wore PPE consistently throughout the visit. All staff had received their COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment. New admissions included appropriate safeguards such as requesting negative test confirmation and self-isolation periods.
