Elizabeth House

Elizabeth House provides personal care for up to 30 people in an adapted building set in its own grounds, opposite Alexandra Park and about a mile from Oldham town centre. At inspection, 28 people were living at the home.

Inspectors found that medicines were not always managed safely, with some people not receiving their prescribed medications. Recent concerns about infection prevention and control included a mouse infestation and poor cleanliness standards in the kitchen. However, the provider took prompt action to address these issues, and ongoing work was underway to improve the home's decoration and standards.
