Park House

Park House provides personal and nursing care to 35 people aged 65 and over, with 23 residents at the time of inspection. The home accommodates people in one adapted building and has recently built a new dedicated area for people living with dementia. The registered manager is approachable and listens to both staff and residents, creating a positive ethos with an open culture. Systems to monitor quality are in place and used to drive continuous improvement.

Staff promote people's safety by following guidance on risk reduction, and residents receive their prescribed medicines safely. The home maintains sufficient staffing numbers with safe recruitment practices in place. Care assessments are conducted alongside residents to record their expectations, preferences, and cultural and diversity needs. People are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests.
