OSJCT Henlow Court

Henlow Court is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 40 people, primarily older adults, some with dementia diagnoses. At inspection, 32 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified significant concerns regarding infection prevention and control practices. Staff did not consistently follow safe procedures, placing people at risk of harm. Additionally, people's care records lacked sufficient detail and robustness to adequately document the care, support and treatment residents received. While systems existed to assess and manage risks to people, they had not been properly operated to ensure people's safety and wellbeing.
