About Orchid Lawns

Orchid Lawns is a care home in Central Bedfordshire, offering a place where older people can feel genuinely at home and well looked after. The team works to create a warm, supportive environment, and families can take comfort in knowing that care and compassion are at the heart of everything they do.

Orchid Lawns provides residential care with nursing for older people, including those living with dementia and complex needs. At inspection, the service was supporting 11 people out of its registered capacity of 24.

Safeguarding concerns were not consistently acted upon or reported promptly to the Care Quality Commission and local authority safeguarding team, leaving people at risk of missing essential external support. However, the registered manager had introduced new systems and ways of working that improved the quality of care provided.
