Elstow Manor

Elstow Manor provides personal and nursing care to up to 80 people, with 38 residents at the time of inspection. The home supports people living with dementia and physical health conditions in a purpose-built building across three floors. Communal spaces include lounges, dining areas, a cinema, hairdressing salon, and bistro, with a garden area featuring a small play area for visiting children. The layout is designed to support people with mobility needs to access all areas freely.

Staff support residents in all aspects of daily life, including safe medicine administration. Residents work with staff and medical professionals to agree when they take their medicines. The registered manager was working to improve administration records and systems for managing excess medicine stock.
