Oakwood House is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 24 people. On inspection, 23 residents were living there, with sufficient suitably trained staff providing safe care and support. The environment was clean and safe, with staff demonstrating awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and concerns handled appropriately.

Medicines were managed safely and administered as prescribed. Infection control measures were in place and had been enhanced in response to the COVID pandemic.
