Oak Lodge

Oak Lodge accommodates up to nine people with learning disabilities and autism, providing residential care and personal support. At the time of inspection, all nine available places were occupied. Staff demonstrated strong knowledge of residents' individual needs and supported them safely across all aspects of daily life, including medication management and health care. The home maintained a safe, well-kept environment with facilities that enhanced residents' everyday experiences.

The service actively promoted residents' independence by encouraging them to participate in daily activities with appropriate support. Residents engaged in cooking, managing their own personal care, and cleaning their rooms, developing greater autonomy in their lives. Risk assessments were in place and safety measures were implemented to protect residents from identified hazards.
