Oak House & Maple Lodge

Oak House and Maple Lodge provides residential care and personal support to up to 14 people with mental health support needs, with 13 residents at the time of inspection. Eleven people live in the main house, with two in a separate building on the grounds. Residents feel safe and praise the staff for being friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One resident commented, "I can always talk to staff; I know they are available," while another said, "I do feel safe, just knowing staff are there, they all know what they are doing." Staff assess risks to people's health and safety, and recovery plans are personalised to promote independence and provide clear support guidance. The home protects residents from abuse, with staff trained in safeguarding procedures, and medicines are managed safely with appropriate infection control measures in place.
