Oadby

Heathcotes (Oadby) is a residential care home specialising in support for people with learning disabilities, autism, Asperger's syndrome and challenging behaviour. The service supports up to eight people, with eight residents at the time of inspection. The home is designed to blend seamlessly into the residential area, with no identifying signs, intercoms or cameras outside. Staff are discouraged from wearing uniforms when in the community, helping residents integrate naturally into their surroundings.

Residents are supported to stay safe through individually assessed staffing arrangements and robust risk management systems. All incidents and safeguarding concerns are recorded, analysed and monitored for patterns or trends. The service encourages residents to access community activities and participate in person-centred activities tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
