Nutten Stoven Residential Home

This residential care home provides personal care for up to 30 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 12 people were using the service.

The home has significant concerns around medicines management. Although the registered manager introduced an electronic system to manage medicines, it was not working correctly, leaving people at risk of not receiving their prescribed medications as intended.

There were also gaps in staff recruitment procedures. While disclosure and barring checks were completed to ensure staff safety, the registered manager failed to obtain full work histories or current references from all staff members, creating potential safeguarding risks.
