Northwood Nursing & Residential Care

Northwood Nursing and Residential Care provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 27 people across a building with bedrooms on three floors. At the time of the assessment, all 27 places were occupied, with the home supporting people needing residential and nursing support.

The CQC found the home to be Good overall, though it remains in breach of regulations around the safe management of medicines, with an action plan required to address this. Inspectors noted that risks relating to the environment and storage had since been assessed and improved. People living there and their relatives spoke positively about the kindness and respect shown by staff.
