About Magdalene House
Magdalene House provides personal and nursing care to up to 52 people aged 60 and over. At the time of inspection, 39 people were in residence.
The home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures to protect residents, staff and visitors. These included weekly staff testing and a specially created socially-distanced pod in the garden area that allowed visitors to safely visit their loved ones. Sanitiser and PPE were readily available throughout the home, with signage promoting their use and encouraging regular hand hygiene.
