Northgate House

Northgate House provides personal care to up to 33 older people, some living with dementia, in an adapted building suited to their needs. At inspection, 28 people were using the service. Staff implemented safeguarding systems effectively, and people reported feeling safe. The home assessed risks to residents and monitored their safety, though inspectors identified that some regular checks had not been completed by appropriately competent personnel and made a recommendation regarding this. Staff demonstrated good knowledge of safeguarding procedures, and the service respected people's independence and freedom.
