Cedar Grange

Cedar Grange provides accommodation across two buildings for up to 31 people requiring personal care, with some residents living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 26 people were living at the service.

Inspectors identified several areas of concern. Risk assessments were not always robust or consistently monitored, and some areas of the service and equipment were not appropriately cleaned, presenting infection control risks. Systems to monitor safety and quality of care had not identified certain issues that could negatively impact residents' experiences. Additionally, improvements were needed in the administration and recording of medicines.
