Norlands Nursing Home

The home provides nursing care to older people, those living with dementia, and individuals with learning, physical or mental health disabilities. At inspection, 17 people were residing in the home, which contains three single rooms and nine shared rooms.

Residents felt safe at the home. The registered manager had strengthened oversight of medicine management, ensuring safe administration of medications. Staff demonstrated awareness of risk assessments in place for residents and understood strategies to manage identified risks. Staff reported feeling confident in reporting safeguarding concerns and understood the required actions to take when issues arose.
