Chataway Nursing Home

Chataway Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 26 people, primarily supporting adults living with mental health conditions. At the time of inspection, 22 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that risks connected to premises safety had not been responded to in a timely manner, though the home provided assurances that outstanding works would be addressed following the inspection. While people received care and support from regular staff with required skills, staff induction was identified as not being sufficiently robust, particularly for new staff members entering health and social care.
