Newnton House Residential Care Home

Newnton House provides care and support for up to nine people with mental health needs, many of whom have forensic histories and learning disabilities. The service offers a short-term programme designed to help residents develop skills needed for independent living. At the time of inspection, nine men were using the service.

The home had established appropriate infection control measures for visiting arrangements. All visitors were required to book visits in advance, with appointment times limited to one hour to minimise infection risk. Visitors were supported to wear face coverings during their time at the service, and hand washing facilities were available to all.
