This care home accommodates up to 28 older people, including those with dementia. At inspection, 22 residents were living there. Staff demonstrated strong infection control practices, including consistent use of PPE throughout the premises and designated uniform changing areas to prevent cross-contamination. Regular testing was in place for both residents and staff. A robust visitor management system required COVID testing, temperature checks, appropriate PPE, and track and trace sign-in. The home offered multiple visiting options including indoor visits, a visiting pod, and an outdoor gazebo. Clear infection control signage was displayed throughout, and video technology was used to maintain contact between residents and relatives who couldn't visit in person.
