New Fern

New Fern is a residential care home providing personal care to six people (though three were living there at inspection) with a learning disability and autism. Staff focus on people's strengths and promote their capabilities, enabling fulfilling everyday lives. The home is safe and clean, meeting residents' sensory and physical needs, and staff make reasonable adjustments to include people in discussions about their support. When residents experience periods of distress, the provider works with them to plan support that restricts freedoms only when necessary.
