Naylorsfield and Hartsbourne

Naylorsfield and Hartsbourne is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 8 people with mental health needs, a learning disability or autistic people. At the time of the assessment, 5 people were living there. This was a responsive assessment carried out after concerns were raised about safe care and treatment.

Inspectors found a good learning culture, with incidents and complaints properly recorded and investigated. Staff understood the Mental Capacity Act and supported people to make their own choices, with enough suitably skilled staff and detailed, safe care records. People and their families felt safe, involved and confident that concerns would lead to real improvement.
