Nayland House Care Home

Nayland House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 54 adults across two units—the main house and cottage. At inspection, 50 people were using the service, some living with dementia.

The home had robust systems to protect people from harm. Risk assessments were in place and mitigation actions were taken. Staffing levels were adequate to meet people's needs and recruitment was safe. Medicines were managed safely and given when needed. Infection control procedures were followed by staff, and the service demonstrated a commitment to learning from past incidents.
