Mountfitchet House

Mountfitchet House provides personal and nursing care for up to 60 older people, including those with nursing care needs and dementia. At the time of inspection, 58 people were using the service.

Staff received training relevant to their roles and underwent safe recruitment with necessary checks completed before starting work. However, safe moving and positioning practices were not always being followed, and care was not consistently provided in line with people's care plan guidance and preferences. The provider's induction programme did not always demonstrate how new care staff learnt the required knowledge and skills.
