Mountfield

Mountfield is a purpose-built residential care home specialising in support for people living with dementia, accommodating up to 46 people aged 65 and over across two floors. At the time of inspection, the home was caring for 18 residents.

Staff had made improvements to promote people's safety and deliver good quality care. Risk assessments were more detailed, helping staff support people safely, though some information in records contained contradictions. Security of the premises needed minor improvements. Infection prevention and control practices had significantly improved, with the premises maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness.
