Mount Vernon Terrace provides accommodation and personal care for older people and younger adults with mental health support needs. At the time of the CQC assessment, 11 people were living at the home, with 2 receiving personal care.

The home had previously been rated requires improvement, with breaches relating to safe care, staffing, dignity and good governance. Following the appointment of a new manager, inspectors found significant improvements, with the provider no longer in breach of regulations. People and visitors described the environment as safe, staff as caring and effective, and praised the manager's approachable and responsive leadership.

The home is now rated Good overall.
