The service has undergone significant improvements including a major refurbishment programme that enhanced the environment. All areas are visibly clean with adequate housekeeping staff in place.

Governance systems now effectively drive improvements across the service, with strengthened infection prevention and control measures addressing previous health and safety concerns.

Medicines management has become robust with clear procedures for both regular and as-required medications, supported by consistent record-keeping. Prescribed creams are now stored securely. Care plans and risk assessments have been comprehensively reviewed and updated to reflect person-centred language, ensuring individualised support for each resident.
