Morley Manor Residential Home

Morley Manor is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 33 people, with 22 people using the service at the time of inspection. The service supports people with a range of needs, including those living with dementia. However, inspectors found significant concerns with the quality of care and management. Medicines were not always administered safely as prescribed, and staff administering medicines had not consistently been assessed for competence. Risk assessments for people at risk of choking were not always followed by staff, and people's risks were not effectively managed overall. Staff deployment was insufficient to meet people's needs in a timely way. Leadership and quality assurance systems had failed to identify these areas of concern and support improvements at the service.
