Millers Grange

Millers Grange is a residential care home in a two-storey building, supporting older people, some living with dementia, with 48 people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding staff kind, attentive and knowledgeable about residents' needs, with a well-stocked activities programme and an open, supportive culture led by the registered manager.

Inspectors did identify some shortfalls: care plans did not always give staff enough guidance, the provider was not always applying the Mental Capacity Act properly, and audit systems had not picked up these issues. Feedback on staffing levels was mixed, though numbers had recently increased on one unit. The home was clean, and residents spoke positively, with one saying they would recommend it to others.
