Millbridge Care Home

This residential care home provides personal and nursing care to 27 residents aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 53 people across two adjoining wings. At the time of inspection, one wing was undergoing extensive renovation nearing completion. Staff levels were sufficient to keep people safe and ensure timely care delivery. The environment was secure with appropriate equipment available, and medicines were managed safely. Staff received proper training and support to carry out their roles effectively.

Residents' health was well managed through positive links with healthcare professionals. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, working within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and seeking consent before providing care. Staff demonstrated kindness and compassion while promoting residents' dignity and ensuring care was delivered in the least restrictive way possible.
