Melton Place is a hospital providing neuro rehabilitation care, mainly for patients with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, including stroke, alongside continuing care for people with progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington's disease and early onset dementia. Only one of its three units was in use at the time of assessment, caring for 12 patients.

The CQC found significant improvement since the last inspection, when the service was rated inadequate. Previous breaches of regulations had been resolved, and the service is now rated Good overall. Patients and relatives spoke positively about staff, involvement in decisions, and felt safe, with inspectors describing a calm, relaxed atmosphere throughout.
