Meadowview Care Home

Meadowview Care Home accommodates up to 41 people requiring assistance with personal care, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 35 people resided at the service. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness with regular cleaning schedules managed by housekeeping staff. Staff received training in infection prevention and control and were observed correctly using and disposing of PPE in line with current guidance.

Family members spoke positively about how the service managed risks to keep residents safe. One family member stated: "They have done everything right. All the decisions they have made have been to keep our relatives safe. I couldn't ask for anything more than that." The registered manager and staff regularly communicated with families about important changes and maintained systems to support residents in accessing regular COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. Residents were supported to maintain regular contact with family members through visits and other forms of communication, with systems in place to prevent transmission of infections.
