About Meadowview Care Home

Meadowview Care Home is a residential care home in Warrington, providing personal care for people, many of whom live with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Meadowview Care Home provides personal care for up to 41 people, most living with dementia. The CQC rated the home as requires improvement overall, down from good, after finding breaches relating to safe care and treatment and to governance. Medication was not always given as prescribed, fire doors and exits were not properly managed, and care plans and risk assessments were sometimes inaccurate or conflicting.

Recruitment checks were not always thorough, and some staff felt evening staffing was stretched and their concerns went unheard. Inspectors found leadership and oversight weak, with complaints not consistently followed up. However, families praised staff kindness, dignity shown to residents, and open communication about their relatives' care.
